Workshare Protect Version 6 Released

Workshare Inc, announced the release of Workshare Protect Version 6, which now includes USB security. Powered by Lync’s File Interception Engine (LyncRMS), Workshare Protect 6 now controls file transfers to removable media.

The unique architecture of LyncRMS enables Workshare Protect 6 to capture files before they reach the removable media device, applying the appropriate actions to the files, which include:

• Remove hidden data
• Convert to secure tamper-proof' PDF file
• Encrypt and protect data
• Prevent transfer of sensitive content
